The Opportunity: The Director IS Procurement, Asset Reliability and Food Safety & Quality Assurance (FSQA) Applications will be responsible for day-to-day support of the associated systems and processes, the implementation of new applications and the support of cross functional projects that impact his functional areas. Working directly with VP Applications, this role is accountable for vetting solutions, providing input into system selection business cases while managing day to day support of business issues, change requests and management of the team across SAP and non-SAP systems. Systems include S/4 (MM, SRM, PM, MRS, QM) and LabVantage LIMS. The position will work in collaboration with business stakeholders such as the corporate Asset Reliability group, Corporate Purchasing and Corporate FSQA teams. Snapshot of a Day-in-the-Life: IS Procurement, Asset Reliability and FSQA Act as an IS partner to the Business – by bringing a deep SAP functional skillset along with extensive knowledge of best practices. Ability to gather business requirements and assess software against business needs. Scope effort and timelines for input into Business Cases and Capital Requests. Work with other directors to architect and deliver effective solutions on time and on budget. Participate in Master Data Governance. Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly Cycle Review project spend against budget and input into IS monthly forecasting. Provide input into Sponsor and Steering committee decks as needed. Provide timely updates at Project Team Meetings. Conduct 1 on 1 reviews with team members and lead team meetings. Input into cross functional IS Director Meeting. Attend weekly Project Management Office and Transport Release meetings. Annual Budgeting Work with business partners to vet their application project priorities for the following year. Provide cost estimates by individual IS project to support IS Budget Roll Up. People/Team Development Manage the productivity of a team of 6 direct reports. Manage team’s annual merit increases. Manage team’s people survey action plans. Manage team’s personal and professional development. Manage team’s succession planning. POSITION OUTCOMES: Deliver sound solutions against planned IS and business priorities. Run a team that has clear direction and delivers within a balanced workload. Manage releases and transports that do not adversely impact business activities. Positive team survey results that reflect team management in accordance with MLF values and employee engagement/growth. Bring thought leadership in area of expertise by attending conferences and through networking opportunities. Development of a stronger IS Procurement, Asset Reliability and Food Safety & Quality Team. What You’ll Bring: Deep SAP experience 12-15 years implementation experience across large scale projects $3-7M. Demonstrated personal leadership skills. Ability to influence others regardless of their level in the organization. Work seamlessly across functions. Act on convictions, not afraid to take risks, insists on being heard. Demonstrated SAP knowledge of MM, SRM, PM, MRS, QM in S/4 or ECC and Ariba. Knowledge of Laboratory Information Management Systems such as LabVantage a nice to have. Experience with mobile solutions and analytic solutions such as Microsoft PowerBI. Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills. Proven evaluator and developer of talent. Ability to communicate concisely and precisely both verbally and in written form. Exceptional organization leadership, ability to manage time, set priorities and work efficiently under pressure. High intellect with ability to adjust quickly to circumstances without losing sight of own responsibilities and organizational goals.
