The Professional Caregiver will be responsible for providing personal care assistance to clients, including meal preparation, medication reminders, and companionship.Duties: Assisting with personal groomingBathingDressing and undressingMobilization activities (turning, transferring, exercising and walking)ToiletingEating and meal preparationsSpecialty care an asset (i.e. Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Chronic Conditions)Companionship, outingsAbility to work independently and make decisions with the support of your teamExcellent communication and listening skillsMust be physically and mentally fit to handle the demands of caregivingMust be passionate, patient, caring and committedWork Location:client homeslocations outside of the client’s home and other sites as needed.Candidates will need.Police Criminal Reference CheckUpdated immunizations.Excellent communication and listening skills.PSW certification or equivalentCurrent certificate in standard first-aid and CPRAbility to travel freely to see clientsQualificationsExperience in personal care assistance, meal preparation, and medication remindersExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to provide companionship and emotional support to clientsKnowledge of safe lifting and transferring techniquesBasic first aid and CPR certificationCompassionate and patient demeanor
