Join our team!What You Will Do:Provide Solutions Architecture services to our Clients and contribute to business development activitiesConceptualize, engineer, design and oversee solution architectures for Client system integration/development or COTS product implementation projectsLead development of organization architectural standards and architecture roadmapsTranslate business requirements into technology solution options and offeringsAnalyze current architectural state, identify pain points analysis and make recommendations for modification/upgrade. Provide technical work sizing and estimatesDefine and design the various layers of the solution architecture including application layer, data flows, integration, data architecture infrastructure requirements and security considerationsPresent advantages and disadvantages of solution options and design considerations to technical clientsDevelop the interfacing specifications for APIsPrototype and construct proof of concepts to test design considerations and recommend technology productsSupport COTS procurement analysis and assessment, including technical requirements development and product evaluations against business needsProvide architecture guidance, input and review to Client COTS procurementsWork with multiple product vendors to form end-to-end solutionsInteract and give guidance to software development or system integration teamsWhat We Offer You:Comprehensive health and dental benefitsRRSP contribution matchingProfessional development and training opportunitiesWhat You Need to Succeed:University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering Sciences or approved equivalent combination of education and experienceArchitecture certification - TOGAF or equivalent10+ years progressive experience in IT; including 5+ years as a Solutions Architect and experience working as a consultantExperience in API technologies: Web Services, REST, SOAP, micro services and SOA architecturesExperience with middleware broker platforms, message brokers and ESB platforms, like IBM Websphere, Oracle FusionExperience designing solutions for hosting on cloud infrastructure and in data center high availability environmentsExperience with database architectures, data modelling and data migrations, preferably in Oracle or MS SQLExperience implementing and integrating COTS software productsERP implementation experience, preferably SAPExperience with DevOps platforms, and architecture governanceExperience with architecting and developing applications in either .NET or Java is considered an assetExperience in architecture governance and DevOps platformsIf you are interested in joining our winning team and have what it takes to be successful in a dynamic industry, we want to hear from you!IMP is committed to Employment Equity and our goal is to be a diverse workforce that is representative at all job levels.
