This company takes care of its people, and they have an excellent employee retention rate to show for it.  WHAT YOU’LL DO: * Liase with all departments to coordinate daily flow of parts, materials, information, orders, and work assignments; monitor stock rotation (FIFO). * Train, coach, and provide constructive feedback and progressive discipline, strengthening team rapport and sustaining employee engagement.  * Maintain stock levels in a computerized inventory control system, alerting purchasers of stock outages and shortages. * Manage workplace health, safety, quality, and environmental systems. * Ensure safe transportation and storage of materials and parts. * Report and investigate damaged shipments, taking action to remedy and prevent future damage.  * Oversee the functions of three rotating shifts (stationed during day shift).  SKILLS YOU’LL BRING: * 5+ years in a manufacturing environment  * 3+ years in a supervisory role; able to manage a team of over eight people * Basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and inventory control systems; familiar with ERP/MRP systems  * Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing * Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience is an asset * Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills * Strong communication and problem-solving abilities; able to collaborate across all levels within an organization
