Key AccountabilitiesDevelop and Implement HR Strategies, Policies and PracticesDesign, implement, and continuously improve Rosedale HR policies and procedures that align with Rosedale’s strategic goals.Work with management to ensure HR strategies support overall business and operation objectives.Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.Manage Employee Experience from Recruitment to ExitLead the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain top talentsDevelop and implement effective onboarding programs that facilitate new employee integrationManage the offboarding process and ensure a positive transition for departing employees.Manage Employer-Employee Relations and CommunicationsServe as the primary point of contact for all HR-related inquiries and issues, providing timely and accurate information to employees and management.Develop and implement communication strategies that facilitate clear, consistent and effective communication between management and employees.Address and resolve employee concerns and conflicts in a fair and timely manner.Develop and Implement Performance Management ProgramDevelop and manage performance review processes that effectively evaluate employee performance and support professional development.Provide guidance and support to managers and employees throughout the evaluation cycle.Manage Employee Training and DevelopmentDevelop training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development, encouraging employees to pursue opportunities for growth.Identify and develop high-potential employees and prepare them for growth.Promote Positive, Inclusive and Collaborative Workplace Culture in RosedaleEncourage open communication, transparency, and trust within Rosedale organization.Serve as a cultural ambassador, setting the tone for Rosedale’s work ethic, professional conduct, and community involvement.Organize team-building activities, recognition programs, and company events that enhance employee engagement and morale.Qualifications and Requirements5+ years of experience in HR management. Experience in fast-growing start-ups is a big plus.HR certification: CHRP is an advantage.Demonstrated ability to manage staff communication effectively and address conflicts positively.Proficiency with the Workforce Now platform from ADP.Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.Strong problem-solving skills in an effective and professional manner.Proven ability to build and maintain positive workplace culture.Work location policyHybrid. The candidate should be able and willing to commute to Rosedale’s HQ Office in Markham at least two days a week.CompensationCompetitive package with benefits.
