Club Pilates is committed to providing affordable and accessible Pilates to the community.Class formats target a wide range of clients’ needs – from young to more senior and beginner to advanced. Club Pilates was one of the first studios to create a 500-hour Teacher Training Program designed to thoroughly and safely teach group Pilates apparatus classes.The General Manager’s main responsibilities include:Consistently achieves revenue goals. Takes responsibility for performance by controlling the controllableTeam builder. Motivates the team to offer incredible classes and top-notch customer serviceSkillfully utilizes the tools provided and works the Club Pilates system provided by CorporateTakes ownership in-studio, taking pride in studio cleanliness and developing staff as necessary.The studio is an inclusive space, for every BODY to enhance their wellness goals. Ensuring this culture is fostered, is at the centre of all the General Manager does.Works with the District Manager and Owner to ensure studio functionalityResponsibilities• Lead generation including Grassroots Marketing and Networking• Manage sales processes to schedule prospects into Demo class• Membership sales• Manage staff schedule• Directly coordinate with all vendors, ensuring that studio retail/products are stocked with accurate inventorycounts• Supervise Sales Representatives• Hire/Manage all instructors at the studio• Provide regular coaching to staff• Proficiency in Club Ready, to include revenue reports, attendance reports, etc.• Independently make decisions related to high level customer service• Collect out-standing dues• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Pilates Studio• Enforce Club Pilates policies and procedures• Ensure all forms, administrative supplies, and studio literature is stocked and visible• Schedule and participate in networking/community events and studio promotions• Strategically manage marketing campaigns to generate leads for the studio• Execute controls on the processes in the studio to ensure compliance• Any other duties as assignedQualifications• 2+ years of retail/service sales or fitness sales management experience• Confident in generating personal sales and training Sales Reps in sales• Ability to manage and drive four (4) revenue streams: membership sales (~70 - 80% of total revenue), retail (~10% of total revenue), private training (~10% of total revenue), and teacher training (~0 - 10% of total revenue)• Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone and via email• Ability to excel in a fast changing, diverse environment• Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgment• An affinity and passion for fitness• Solid writing and grammar skills• Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines• Professional, punctual, reliable and neat• Strong attention to detail and accuracy• Trustworthy and ability to handle confidential information• Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients and the general public• Proficiency with computers and Studio softwareLocation & Employment ArrangementsClub Pilates Junction - 2720 Dundas Street West, TorontoFour days a week at the studio; one day a week at home37.5 hours/week, with a variable shift scheduleCompensation & BenefitsBase salary, plus monthly bonus (based on number of members and monthly membership draft)Health Spending AccountComplimentary Pilates ClassesThree (3) weeks paid vacation each year
