Prepares reports to detail inventory related adjustments for the retail organization.What’s in it for you?Annual Base Pay: $65,000 - $75,000Generous bonus planExcellent extended health benefitsRRSP company match programDiscounts on the newest wireless technology and plansResponsibilitiesProduce weekly reports to aid the Purchasing team in monitoring outstanding purchase ordersFollow-up with vendors on delinquent shipments and order discrepanciesAssist with monthly cycle count communication and store support to ensure proper procedures are being adhered toPlan, schedule, and communicate the yearly cycle count schedule for the retail and warehouse locationsAudit and update monthly cycle counts conducted by retail and warehouse locationsPromote proper execution of Inventory Count processes through various communication methods and reportsRecord and follow up with retail locations that have not submitted required monthly cycle countsInvestigate Inventory discrepancies and ensure reported variances are accurateProduce and audit store adjustment reportsInvestigate general inventory shrinkages and recommend action to limit profit lossAssess and propose business process enhancements where requiredDocument and publish Inventory Control processes for the field and head officeGeneral support to Purchasers and Reverse Logistics departmentsQualificationsPost secondary training in Business and/or supply chain management5 years direct supply chain experience and/or retail managementExcellent organizational skills and ability to take initiativeStrong communication skills both written and verbalLead and participate in the development of inventory processes & proceduresProblem solving skills and process improvement experienceUnderstanding of financial accounting concepts and reporting processesStrong fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain, Planning, Inventory Control, and purchasing in a head office environmentProficient in MS Office applications, including but not limited to Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and WordExposure to POS applications (RQ, SAP, etc.)English/French language preferred
