Property Manager | Commercial Real Estate | Montreal (Old port) | Up to $95 000Your new companyHays Property & Real Estate is proud to partner with a growing landlord and operator of mixed-use real estate who are currently in search of a Property Manager for their portfolio in downtown Montreal.Your new roleAs Property Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities and maintenance of 200K SQFT of commercial (restaurant, retail office) and 50-75 doors .Responsibilities includeResponsible for all building operations; maintenance staff, external contractors and building technical facilities (HVAC, mechanical and electrical systems, fire and personal safety systems, building controls and risk management)Perform weekly inspections of the buildings and property groundsEnsure that the highest level of preventative safety measures and cleanliness are metPrepare, monitor and manage the annual expense budgetPrepare monthly forecasts, variance reports, and adjustments for the accounting departmentMonitor all public servicesNegotiate and manage all service contracts with the property services groupManage sustainability processesManage tenant construction workCollaborate with various departments and suppliersRespond to emergencies related property operationsProvide the necessary technical information for major or minor repairsPrepare project quotes and obtain approval for submissionSupervise contractor workWhat you need to succeed As the successful candidate, you will have at least 3+ years of experience in commercial property management, and have excellent communication skills to effectively manage tenant requests, strong administrative skills, the ability to delegate responsibilities to subcontracts (maintenance, skilled trades etc), are organized, possess the ability to work under minimal supervision, basic knowledge of building systems and construction, possess excellent customer service skills, are tech savvy, possess and understanding of commercial leases (asset) and are bilingual.What you'll get in return The successful candidate will receive a base salary of 75k-95k (based on experience), 2-3 weeks vacation, insurance benefits, 5 PTO Days, phone allowance, car allowance and the opportunity to join an experienced real estate group with excellent opportunities for career growth.What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion on your [email protected] 764 0977
