Project Engineer

Our client is currently seeking a Project Engineer for a 1 year contract with opportunity for renewal/extension. Successful candidate will be working primarily on Capital Projects work orders.Responsibilities:Maintaining a co-operative, motivated and successful project teamDeveloping, planning, defining and executing capital investment projectsEnsuring that projects are delivered on time, to budget and required quality standardsEnsuring that projects are effectively resourcedManaging relationships with a wide range of groups, including plant Engineers/Operators, Maintenance/Safety groupsManaging the work of in-house CapEx Engineering teams and external Engineering consultants, allocating and utilising resourcesEnsure project schedules are developed and maintained throughout all project stages, implement corrective measures as requiredRequirements:5+ years Petrochem experienceProfessional Engineer designation - RequiredFamiliarity with multi-discipline project scopes, ie.- process/ piping design, mechanical / civil & structural / electrical/instrument & controls EngineeringMust be entitled work in Canada.NOTE: Having expertise within at least one Engineering discipline is an assetWhat's in it for you:Weekly pay including vacation payOptional employee benefits coverage availableMonday - Friday, 40 hours per weekLet's connect!Please apply directly online or by email [email protected]
