Solutions Architect

AZAD Technology Partners is seeking a Solutions Architect for a full-time, W2 Contract position based in Peoria, IL.Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week, On-Site.Assignment Duration: 12 MonthsCompensation & Benefits: Compensation is between $52.00 - $58.00 hourly. Benefits include Co-paid Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, Cafeteria Plan, and 401k, as well as the option for Paid Time Off (dependent on amount requested).Position Description:Candidate Requirements:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or other related degree.Eight plus years relevant experience with training in systems analysis and system design.Technical Skills (Required):Possesses knowledge of operating systems, data processing equipment and programming techniques.Ability to analyze and solve complex logical problems.Major Purpose:Responsible for analyzing and evaluating user requirements and converting these into business system designs. Assists in the development and implementation of new systems in compliance with organizational standards. Maintains documentation on existing and new systems, including enhancements or modifications. Provides follow-up to ensure success of programs.Works as part of Global Machine Pricing core teams responsible for Pricing systems and application.Interacts with clients' IT teams.Interacts with Resource Industries Pricing team.Typical Day in the Role:Consults with users to collect information about system needs, objectives, functions and features.Evaluates user requests for new and modified business systems to determine feasibility and necessary resources.Translates requests into a logical process that includes design, coding, implementation in order to provide completion estimates.Designs effective systems that adhere to user requirements and regulations.Participates with clients in testing system changes and enhancements.Provides technical support for system malfunctions and corrects errors.Monitors system performance and maintains documentation on all system enhancements, corrections, and operating procedures.Interaction with Team:High level of interaction with GMP, RI Pricing, and client's IT.Soft Skills (Required):Must work effectively in teams to achieve user objectives and ensure client satisfaction.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to coordinate the efforts of various departments and functions.High degree of individual responsibility and self-directed.About Us:AZAD Technology Partners values diversity - in backgrounds and in experiences.
