SAGE offers competitive salaries with benefits and a supportive culture to help employees utilize their skills to achieve their career goals and aspirations.Role and Responsibilities:The Technical Project Manager acts as the key client contact for all technical matters and coordinates internal responses with the appropriate subject matter experts. The Technical Project Manager leads, tracks, follows up and monitors project timelines, scope and budget to ensure alignment with project deliverables making use of appropriate project management tools such as MS Project, actions logs, dashboards and others as required. Close collaboration across many workstreams is required, including Quality, Analytical, Engineering, Logistics/Supply Chain, Validation, Regulatory and Leadership. Tasks and responsibilities include:Organizes and provides direction and support to project staff according to project requirementsProvides regular status updates to client and SAGE on projects; both technical and financialReviews and makes recommendations on design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related standards and regulationsCoordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problemsManages integration of technical activities and productsSuggests ways to improve project executionEvaluates and approves design changes, specifications, and drawing releasesControls expenditures within limitations of project budget, prepares interim and completion project reportsPrepares and submits project proposals, as well as following up with client to obtain purchase orderApproves timesheets for assigned project staffConducts evaluations and provides feedback for assigned project staffActively seeks new project work with clientSupervises staff and provides day to day direction for assigned project teamsSupport training of new staff on principles and applicationsSupport development of internal expertise in an assigned technical areaQualifications:Degree in Science or Engineering6+ years of related industry experienceKnowledge of pharmaceutical and engineering principles and practicesStrong work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills, organizational, verbal and written communication skillsWorking knowledge of regulations (from Health Canada – cGMPs and from FDA – GMPs) applying to operations in the regulated industriesProficient with computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project, and AutoCADTeam player and able to work independently with little or no supervisionP.Eng licensed applicants preferredHere at SAGE, we offer the following total rewards package to our employees:Competitive compensation packageMedical, dental, and vision health benefitsCareer development and advancement opportunities and trainingIn and out of office work environments when feasibleWork life balanceSocial company eventsProfessional association membershipsEducation Assistance ProgramIn accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, SAGE Engineering Services Ltd. welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
