Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.
Position Overview Digital Shared Services focuses on supporting clinical and business systems as the foundation for leveraging electronic data in the delivery of health-care services.
Main Function
Supervise, coordinate, and work collaboratively with a geographically dispersed team of ICT client service staff within a 24/7/365 critical systems environment.
Coordinate and adjust scheduling to ensure safe and sustainable operations in the assigned work area.
Model a customer-centric approach for its assigned team, units, services, projects and improvement initiatives.

Business Services which supports the introduction, use, optimization and sustainment of effective business administrative solutions, effective business processes, systems, services, and technologies.
Clinical Digital Solutions which supports the introduction, use, optimization and sustainment of effective clinical informatics and digital health processes, systems, services, and technologies.
ICT Services which provides and supports shared technology access, hosting and workplace services.
Enterprise Technology which provides an effective technical ICT enterprise architecture.
Diagnostic Services which supports the introduction, use, optimization and sustainment of effective diagnostic technology solutions, processes, systems, services, and technologies.
Experience 5 years of progressive client services experience in a digital services organization focused on maintaining a wide range of complex computer systems, services, and information infrastructure, preferably in a shared services environment, including: 2 years of experience coordinating the schedules and work assignments of a geographically dispersed team of client service staff with specialized technology and services support skills to ensure safe and sustainable 24/7/365 service coverage and critical/urgent incident response.
3 years of experience working alongside, coaching and mentoring a team in the technical discipline assigned staff group, directly responding to customer service escalations, and providing specialized technical expertise.
Previous experience in the health services delivery sector is an asset.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Post-secondary diploma in technology, computer science or digital health/clinical informatics from an accredited education institution.
A post-secondary degree is an asset.
Vendor and industry certifications in specific technologies and ICT functions are assets.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Certification/Licensure/Registration Active member in good standing with an associated regulatory body as appropriate.
Vendor and industry certifications in specific technologies and functions are assets.
Must be able to work safely in a typical computerized office environment with frequent meetings, and to lift and carry items of up to approximately 10 kg.
Interruptions from key stakeholders are common; dedicated and focused time for planning and concentration can be scheduled.
Regular travel throughout the service area requiring a valid Manitoba driver’s license and use of a personal motor vehicle.
Must be able to work flexible hours as required to meet service commitments, participation in an "on call" rotation is required, and overtime may be required.
