Partnering with our leadership team, the Talent Acquisition Advisor will serve our hiring managers at every stage of the cycle, from defining position details, evaluating candidates, assessing risk to coordinating on-boarding. With a mix of high-volume positions and a diverse range of management roles, the Talent Acquisition Advisor will have the opportunity to work across all business functions. Key ResponsibilitiesManage the full-cycle talent acquisition process from multi-channel candidate sourcing to hiringDeliver an excellent candidate experience to all applicants at every step in the interview processDesign creative recruitment programs and strategies to reach out to passive candidatesPartner with the leadership team to plan for short term and long-term hiring needsMonitor and leverage agency recruitment partners to fill unique positions within the organizationSupport programs to enhance the overall employer brand reputationAssisting the Manager, Talent Acquisition, in project work, including university and campus programs, career fairs, international recruitment plans, and other recruitment initiatives What you BringThe ideal candidate for the Talent Acquisition Advisor role will share in Axiom’s commitment to accountability, autonomy, excellence, humility and respect. You are solutions-oriented and client-focused in your approach, and you strive to provide more than just a transactional hire - you are far more interested in developing a long-term talent acquisition strategy and finding the right people along the way. In addition to managing the recruitment process, you are excited to dive into projects related to talent experience, campus outreach, employer brand, and creative, out-of-the-box recruitment strategies. Skills and ExperienceA minimum of 2 years of experience in agency recruitment or internal talent acquisitionStrong ability to organize your workload leveraging your ATS, Candidate Pools and LinkedInBasic understanding of current Employment Standards and LegislationRelationship Building, Collaboration and TeamworkComfortable picking up the phone for headhunt callsNot afraid to navigate tricky negotiations Ability to work collaboratively and independentlyExcellent communication (Verbal, Written and Interpersonal – Articulate, Professional and Concise)Familiar with the Construction industry and Vancouver labour market an assetYour Rewards We’re committed to the success and development of our people and recognize that they are the drivers behind our success.
