Job Requirements / Description
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES Work directly with US and Canadian border regulators, brokers, and shippers to ensure the seamless movement of cross-border traffic Provide active guidance to CPKC Border staff to ensure error-free and tactical cross-border operations Investigate, manage, and resolve border exceptions Act as a point of contact and escalation for internal stakeholders involved in cross-border traffic Ensure process accuracy and supplemental tariff application Maintain, manage, and issue daily border metric reports Identify continuous improvement opportunities through solution development and implementation POSITION REQUIREMENTS University degree and/or equivalent experience in a transportation environment 2 years of relevant railway, regulatory, or cross-border transportation experience Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple initiatives with tight deadlines Ability to innovate, solve problems, and manage conflict Bilingual in English and Spanish; an asset Proficient in MS Office Suite WHAT CPKC HAS TO OFFER Flexible and competitive benefits package Competitive company pension plan Employee Share Purchase Plan Performance Incentive Program Annual Fitness Subsidy Part-time Studies Program
