The TQRM team is part of RSM's Office of Risk Management. TQRM is responsible for establishing and monitoring RSM tax policies and assisting tax professionals concerning these policies, professional standards governing tax practice, engagement letters, client claims, and other risk management matters.
Role
The role of the Senior Associate is to assist in managing TQRM initiatives in RSM across Canada.
Responsibilities
Under direction of TQRM’s Senior Manager, assist in the development and deployment (where required), and assist in managing risk management projects that support RSM Canada Tax policies Actively support the Annual Tax Inspections process as mandated by RSM International Regularly report on progress of assigned projects and propose changes based on findings Participate in training sessions relating to TQRM projects Actively participate in TQRM team meetings
Education / Experience
- TQRM, Accounting or Project Management background
- Previous experience in professional services firms
- Bachelor’s degree obtained or expected shortly – Accounting or Risk Management, preferred
- Project Management certification a plus
- Fluent in French (preferred)
