Position: Solution ArchitectContract Duration: 3 yearsLocation: Onsite at a Government of Saskatchewan office in Regina, SaskatchewanLanguage: EnglishAnticipated Start Date: April, 2024Overview: Our client is seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to work on diverse Information Technology (IT) projects, addressing various business challenges. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing conceptual and logical solution architectures in line with modern best practices and technical standards. This role involves collaboration with project teams and leadership responsibilities to ensure project outcomes align with government and ministry priorities.Mandatory RequirementsAbility to work onsite at a Government of Saskatchewan office in Regina, Saskatchewan.Demonstrated experience as a Solution Architect leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders, vendors, and intricate cloud integrations.Certification in TOGAF 9 or newer.Experience with GOS or comparable entities in the technical and business landscape.Demonstrated experience integrating cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services within a solution.Experience as a Solution Architect on at least 5 business technology projects.Proficiency in modern architectural approaches and application of current best practices in enterprise solution design.Knowledge and successful implementation of a wide variety of modern IT technologies.Experience in creating and managing architectural standards.Certifications with Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud services are considered assets.Certification as a project manager is considered an asset.TasksAssess and understand business project requirements and outcomes in collaboration with ministry personnel.Work with business and technical resources to develop technical specifications supporting procurement processes for new software solutions and services.Develop conceptual and logical designs for business technology problems.Ensure solution architectures comply with current standards and align with the direction of the GOS environment.Coordinate the review and approval of solution designs through the technical governance process.Oversee the technical implementation and deployment of new business solutions.Participate and contribute to the maturity of the architecture practice.Develop and maintain technology standards and system roadmaps. #J-18808-Ljbffr
