This is an exciting and significant milestone in our journey to bring this ground-breaking technology to patients.Reporting to the Firmware Team Lead, we are looking for a dynamic Medical Device Firmware Developer. As a part of a highly collaborative and technical team, you will develop innovative, user-friendly software features for our revolutionary Globe Mapping and Ablation System.Please note, this opportunity is a hybrid work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC.Meaningful work you will be a part ofWorking collaboratively with other firmware developers and electrical engineers, you will be implementing safety, sensing, and therapy delivery modules in C/C++. The platform includes C processes running on an embedded RTOS and interfacing directly to custom electronics on a current generation FPGA architecture.Requirements and design specificationInvestigations of reported anomaliesCode inspectionsDesign, specification, and risk reviewsTDD/unit testingTest platform and integration test developmentWhat you bring to the teamOur Kardium team is smart, creative, and passionate about developing cutting-edge medical devices to help improve people’s lives. Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, and business or organizational needs.
