Implementation of the community economic development initiatives aimed at building long term capacity and fostering the integration of the Nation s economic, social and environmental objectivesPlanning, developing and implementing economic opportunities in collaboration with Michipicoten s economic development corporation, government, private industry, municipalities, and First Nation partnersMaintaining a sound administrative and organizational systemDeveloping budgets and cash flow projectionsWorking with governments, funding agencies, local industry, and local businesses to develop and implement initiatives to enhance community and economic growthWhat do you bring? Degree in community development, business, commerce, economics, or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience working with First Nations; Knowledge of Indigenous Rights, history, culture, and current socioeconomic issuesMinimum of five years experience in community or economic developmentThree years experience in a management or supervisory roleExperience in venture developmentPMP Certification an assetSelect Apply Now or send your resume We love referrals.
