Job Description Our client in the automotive industry is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to join their team. The Manager of Talent Acquisition will spearhead the development and execution of a national recruiting strategy. This role is pivotal in implementing innovative recruiting tactics to attract top-tier talent. The Manager will oversee recruitment in a designated region, ensuring all hiring practices comply with federal and provincial legislation. Responsibilities: Collaborate with operational and HR business partners across Canada to create a national recruiting strategy that leverages best practices and innovative tactics. Optimize the national recruiting budget by establishing vendor relationships and negotiating terms, conditions, and fees to reduce hiring costs and maximize ROI. Handle internal and external recruitment processes for a designated region or client groups, focusing on professional and management positions to secure qualified personnel. Oversee the applicant tracking system, develop and maintain national recruitment statistics, conduct analyses, and generate reports to identify trends and enhance performance. Partner with hiring managers to improve hiring practices, including interview techniques, documentation, and assessment tools, ensuring compliance with provincial and federal legislation. Participate in various HR projects, programs, and initiatives as assigned by the Director of Human Resources. Qualifications: Degree or diploma in human resources 4-6 years of corporate recruitment experience or equivalent education/experience. CHRP designation is a significant asset. Strong understanding of applicable HR legislation (e.g., Employment Standards, Human Rights). Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
