The IT analyst provides support and maintenance for the organization's internal and cloud-based systems. This involves setting up, testing, maintaining and upgrading hardware and equipment to achieve optimal performance. The network analyst will also offer end user education and support when needed. The person will collaborate with other IT members and external vendors to ensure the network infrastructure and services are dependable and secure.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Skills

  • Install, configure, maintain, and support network devices and systems, such as routers, switches, firewalls, servers, access points and storage.
  • Monitor and analyze network performance and security and troubleshoot any issues or incidents.
  • Administer and manage network services and applications, such as Microsoft 365, Citrix, VMware, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, SSO, 2FA.
  • Good understanding of security principles, procedures, and best practices.
  • Document and update network policies, procedures, diagrams, and inventory.
  • Research and assist in evaluating new technologies and solutions and provide recommendations for improvement.

Account Management Skills

  • Develop and maintain knowledge bases and FAQs for technical-related issues and solutions.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of network standards and best practices.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end users and escalate issues as needed.
  • Assist Senior IT Manager and collaborate with the internal IT team, vendors and service providers for technology-related projects.
  • Participate in network audits and assessments and ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.

Business Acumen

  • Provide training and support for end users on the use of technology and applications and promote user adoption and satisfaction.
  • Assist with the onboarding and offboarding of users and devices and ensure proper access and security controls.
  • Understand and assist in aligning technology solutions with the business goals and needs of the organization.
  • Communicate effectively with IT management and operations on network-related issues, projects, and initiatives.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct in all network-related activities.
