Registered Nurse

Position Overview

Calian is building a team of experienced and qualified Registered Nurse who can give us two weeks (or more) to working in various hospitals and communities within Saskatchewan. Areas of expertise include Emergency, Medical Surgical Units and ICU. Competitive pay rate with living allowance given. Travel and accommodation will be provided by Calian.

Responsibilities

• RN will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care.
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, conflict-resolution and decision-making skills required.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a member of an inter-professional team
• Demonstrated knowledge of patient and family-centred care
• Demonstrated leadership and facilitation skills required

• Exemplary clinical practice within an inter-professional team

• Taking appropriate action when receiving notifications regarding patient care

Additional Requirements

• Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing
• Criminal Record check and Vulnerable Sector Check
• Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
• Valid CPR- Level BLS certification
• WHMIS
• Violence Prevention Training
• Transfer Lifting and repositioning
• Professional Assault and Response Training
