Position OverviewAs a Senior Designer with M Moser Associates, you will take the lead on projects, from the very first client interviews, through to project close out, including contributing to working drawings. As an Senior Designer you are also active in enhancing our business both externally (client facing) and internally (talent and office) and do it all with a shared vision.Primary Responsibilities:Leading project teams and consultants to uncover integrated, innovative, and interdisciplinary solutions to design problemsDelivering and winning design presentation opportunities on a regular basisConsulting with clients to establish design concepts and parameters, including how space will function, budget considerations, and aesthetic preferencesGenerating conceptual designs using a variety of graphic techniques, and work with PM to prepare preliminary cost estimatesGuiding the work of Design Team on written specifications, working drawings, and construction documents, including verification that designs meet applicable building codes where necessaryEstablishing and maintaining trust between the project team, client and other project stakeholdersMonitoring and maintaining a high level of design quality within the project teamProblem-solving project design issues and applying inventive solutionsJob RequirementsM Moser Associates is looking for an accomplished Senior Designer who can take the lead on projects, from the very first client interviews, through to project close out, including contributing to working drawings. In order to be successful in this, you must have extensive experience with the entire project lifecycle, including an exceptional knack and portfolio for delivering awe-inspiring ideas for corporate workplace clients. You should also be a natural-born storyteller that can captive clients, earn trust and inspire those working with you.Qualifications & Key Competencies:8-15 minimum years of experience in workplace interior design or architectureBachelor's degree in Architecture, Design or another related field preferredProficiency in Revit (REQUIRED), SketchUp, AutoCAD, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), InDesignStrong presence in the market, active engagement in industry eventsImpressive track record of happy clients and a portfolio of signature conceptual design work, including workplace transformation projectsKnowledgeable in local codes, permitting and designing toward target budget while maintaining the overall quality in design thinkingNotes: Moser is an equal opportunity employer
