The company's team, composed mostly of women and entirely of immigrants, is dedicated to establishing a culture of elevated design and craft in Vancouver.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Social Media and Showroom Experience Coordinator at WallyWool located in Richmond, BC. You will be responsible for creating and managing social media content, developing digital marketing strategies, and engaging with the online community. Additionally, you will be responsible for daily administrative duties, such as taking payments, handling calls on the phone, and curating a showroom experience for the customers.Hours & LocationOn-site at our newly renovated showroom in Richmond, BCMonday to Friday8:00 am - 4:30 pmYou’ll be stationed at a custom front desk with green tentacles (see @wallywoolbc)ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Marketing:Create and manage social media content across various platformsDevelop and implement digital marketing strategies to increase brand awarenessEngage with the online community to drive engagement and growthMonitor social media trends and analytics to optimize content and strategiesUtilize design software to produce high-quality visuals in line with the brand aestheticReception and Administrative Duties:Handle reception/front desk duties, including greeting visitors and answering inquiriesTake payments over the phone and process transactions accuratelyManage incoming and outgoing calls, directing them to the appropriate departmentsRespond to emails and manage the showroom's general inboxAssist with scheduling appointments and maintaining the showroom calendarCurate and conduct a brand-aware showroom experienceQualificationsExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with diverse clienteleCommitment to long-term career growth with the companySocial Media Marketing and Content Creation skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAttention to detail and ability to meet deadlinesExperience in Digital Marketing and MarketingCreative problem-solving skillsDesire for continuous learningKnowledge of interior design or architectural industry is a plusDegree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is a plusHow to ApplyTo apply, please send a resume to Khorshid Azad at [email protected].
