You think of ideas to improve anything and are comfortable and confident enough to bring these ideas forward. As a Project Manager, you play a critical role in our team’s success by facilitating seamless communication across the Construction, Sales, and Estimation Departments, as well as sub-trades and supplier partners. The ideal candidate has previously worked for a high-volume pre-cast concrete plant or construction and can multitask in a dynamic work environment. As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in our dynamic team by managing projects of concrete pre-cast structures projects and services for precast concrete projects ranging in value from $100K to multi-million dollar contracts.This is a growth role for the business. Primary Responsibilities:·      Pivotal role at Structural Precast, orchestrating project timelines, managing resources, and leading cross-functional teams across Construction, Sales, and Estimation departments.·      Key communicator with subcontractors and supplier partners, ensuring timely and cost-effective project completions.·      Driven Project Manager with extensive experience in dynamic construction environments.·      Proven ability to ensure project excellence, surpassing quality and efficiency standards.·      The ability to meet and prioritize changing deadlines.·      Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.·      The ability to develop effective and professional relationships with peers, trades and suppliers.·      Strong understanding of Structural Precast or Construction methodologies and execution strategies. ·      Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. ·      Strong organizational and analytical capabilities. ·      Ability to maintain accurate and organized documentation. ·      Strong cost control and scheduling. ·      Advanced skills with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) Key Responsibilities:·      Develop and implement project plans aligned with organizational goals.·      Facilitate communication and coordination between internal teams and external partners.·      Manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets to meet all targets and requirements.·      Lead problem-solving efforts, adapting project plans to evolving needs and obstacles.·      Oversee compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.·      Conduct risk assessments and devise contingency plans to mitigate risks.Ideal Candidate:·      Experienced in project management within high-volume pre-cast concrete plants or similar environments.·      Strong multitasker in dynamic work environments.·      Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.·      PMP Certification is an asset.Why Join Us?o   Contribute to building lasting infrastructures as part of a team committed to innovation and excellence.o   Enjoy a supportive work environment with opportunities for professional growth and leadership.o   Make a real difference in projects that impact the community.Required Qualifications/Skills/Abilities:·      5-10 years of experience in Structural Concrete Pre-Cast or Construction PM; candidates with substantial experience in Project Management of commercial precast concrete will be considered with less overall experience.·      Excellent time management and calendar management while keeping stakeholders in the know. ·      Project lifecycle from start to finish includes relations profitability and schedule adherence. Software for Scheduling and PM. ·      Play an active role in business development, proposal submissions, interviews, presentations, client/consultant relationship management.·      Work closely with the site team to develop the project plan, engineering methods and monitor the project schedule.·      Develop recovery strategies when project schedule or budget is in jeopardy.·      Understand and enforce prime contract and subcontract responsibilities.·      Negotiate and issue subcontracts, major purchase orders and monitor their progress and schedule.·      Work with accounting department to ensure project accounting is accurate and timely.·      Prepare and issue progress applications to owner according to established schedules.·      Review/approve subcontractor applications for payment and expedite owner payment from within contract terms.·      Process all change orders, including negotiating and assessing cost and schedule impact.·      Manage all facets of project close-out, including archiving of documents, maintenance and warranty manuals, deficiencies, and warranty work.·      Participate in tender closings when requested.·      Supervise, mentor, coach, and train project personnel.·      Solid knowledge in the review and negotiation of contracts for construction projects.·      Strong technical, business, financial and legal acumen.·      Effective communication skills (oral, written, presentations), including the ability to successfully translate technical information to non-technical individuals.·      Demonstrated leadership skills, including strong teambuilding capabilities.·      Knowledge of key principles involved in bid preparation, including quantity take off procedures sub-trade procurement, pricing and bid closing procedures.·      Excellent relationship building skills and ability problem solve.·      Establish and maintain positive relationships with external and internal clients and represent the company at industry functions and events.·      Model the Company Values.This position offers a promising opportunity to advance in a growing company known for its quality products and innovative solutions in the precast concrete industry.
