Job Summary The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and leading the sales team within the beauty industry. This role will focus on developing and maintaining solid relationships with retailers, ensuring sales targets are met or exceeded, and identifying new business opportunities. The Senior Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in aligning sales strategies with the overall business objectives, contributing to the success and expansion of our brand. This position will directly report to the General Manager.Principal Accountabilities - Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth within the beauty industry.Manage and nurture relationships with key retail partners, ensuring high customer satisfaction and loyalty.Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to deliver exceptional results, providing guidance and support to ensure professional growth and performance.Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape within the beauty industry, mainly focusing on retail channels.Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data, and prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting areas of success and improvement.Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and potential retail partners, expanding our market presence and product distribution.Work closely with marketing, product development, and other internal teams to align sales strategies with overall business goals.Lead negotiations with retail partners to secure favourable terms and agreements, ensuring long-term profitability and brand alignment.Oversee the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and achievement of financial targets.Liaise with HQ on local market support, reporting and ad-hoc requestsKey Experience and Skills Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.At least 5 years of direct sales experience in retail and 3+ years in a leadership position, preferably within the beauty industry or related sectors.Proven track record of driving sales growth and managing key retail accounts.Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a sales team to achieve results.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Deep understanding of the beauty industry, market trends, and retail dynamics.Ability to analyze data and market insights to inform sales strategies.Understanding of customer and market dynamics as well as the beauty landscapeProficient in Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Knowledge of SAP is an asset.Ability to work collaboratively and independently as part of a team, meeting deadlines and driving projects with minimal supervision.Strong presentation and project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional meetingsEffective problem solver with innovative thinkingExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalPositive team player with the ability to initiate, build and nurture relationshipsSelf-starter, takes initiative to improve and start tasks that benefit business and team goalsHighly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously at times with little direction/oversightAbility to think strategically and reach quickly in a fast-paced environmentWe are committed to integration and equal opportunity.
