The Opportunity
VoPay is in search of a Marketing Operations Manager to lead and optimize our marketing operations, ensuring seamless execution of our strategies and initiatives. This role is crucial in supporting the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and the broader marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a diverse skill set and the ability to manage a wide range of responsibilities with a high degree of independence and attention to detail.
Duties and Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Collaborate with the CMO to develop and execute marketing strategies and initiatives.
- Lead and mentor the marketing operations team, providing guidance and support.
- Oversee the creation and implementation of marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive marketing operations plans and documentation.
Operations Management
- Manage CRM systems and marketing automation integration to enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Oversee various marketing tasks, including campaign coordination, data analysis, and reporting.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in messaging and branding.
- Manage B2B marketing events from ideation to execution, including negotiating sponsorships, designing advertising, booking accommodations, etc.
- Help manage marketing budgets, track expenses, and provide budgetary recommendations.
Process Optimization & Reporting
- Maintain existing marketing technology and integrate new tools and processes to drive optimization and automation.
- Create behavioral and demographic segmentation programs to support automated nurture, ABM, and lead scoring initiatives.
- Work with our marketing and sales teams to become an expert on the company’s lead funnel – from web visitor to customer and everything in between.
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and follow through to completion.
- Identify areas for process optimization within the marketing operations workflow.
Content & Communication
- Assist in the creation and editing of marketing content, ensuring accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Prepare meeting agendas and minutes, ensuring clear communication and follow-up on action items.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and agencies, ensuring deliverables are met within agreed timelines.
Support & Administration
- Provide administrative and general business support to the CMO in day-to-day matters.
- Prepare documents, reports, and presentations as required.
- Assist with reviewing documents and reports and follow up with outside parties as required.

Skills and Qualifications
5+ yrs experience in Marketing Management or Marketing Operations
A college or university degree.
Excellent communication and writing skills.
Tech-savvy and resourceful: familiarity with G Suite, Jira, Figma, Social Media Management, Google Analytics, and WordPress.
CRM experience - HubSpot is preferable.
SEO & Digital Marketing expertise
Excellent event management skills.
Experience with analytics and reporting.
Ability to take initiative, multi-task, and work well under pressure.
