Civil Construction Bid Manager

About Our Client The client isone of the leading companies in the construction industry, institutional,commercial, industrial, and civil engineering sectors. It is based inVancouver, British Columbia. What YOU Will Do Jump in andtake the lead in coordinating between design, proposals and estimating teams tocomplete the full-cycle bid process; Develop bidstrategies with Regional Leaders for unique and complex P3, Design Build and/orO&M projects; Coordinate withthe estimating team to produce construction costs (CAPEX) and coordinate withO&M partners to assist in establishing life cycle costs (OPEX) for P3projects; Developcompetitive business proposals in collaboration with consultants and O&Mpartners; Identifypotential impacts on cost and provide an optimal Net Present Value (NPV); Prepare projectexecution plans with the estimating team, ensuring accurate pricing issubmitted; Develop aproject schedule with input from all stakeholders including a project breakdownstructure and covering all scopes to be completed such as design, procurement,permitting construction and commissioning; Manage thepreparation of contract agreements and RFIs, supported by our in-house legalteam; Prepareproposal timelines and track production of deliverables against targetmilestones; Get creativeand think outside the box to develop key messages and winning themes forproposal presentations; Support theproduction and review of technical documents; Develop,monitor and maintain the proposal budget; Celebratesuccess and be a key member of the project handover process upon contractaward; Build longlasting relationships with clients, consultants, trade and JV partners.
