For over 60 years, we have built our reputation on a solid foundation of core values - integrity, excellence and respect.You will have the opportunity to work closely with partners, managers and other staff and join an organization that values work/life balance and puts an emphasis on developing our people.Your primary responsibilities will include:Completing and supervising engagements, primarily audits and reviews and related tax filings within a paperless office environment.Identifying and resolving assurance engagement issues.Training and mentoring junior staff on assurance engagements.Developing and maintaining positive and productive working relationships with clients, co-workers and all levels of staff and management.Assisting in the training and development of our team.A successful candidate will have:Ability to work in English and French.Previous experience in a public accounting firm working on audits and review engagements.Good technical knowledge of GAAP, audit and review procedures and tax compliance.Computer skills including Caseware and Taxprep.Strong understanding of a client-focused environment including related deadlines and the ability to work to meet those deadlines.Sound judgment regarding confidential and sensitive matters.Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.Attention to detail and accuracy.Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Application Information:We offer a competitive remuneration package based on experience and qualifications.
