A DevOps Engineercombines an understanding of both engineering and coding. A DevOpsEngineer works with various departments to create and develop systemswithin a company. From creating and implementing systems software toanalyzing data to improve existing ones, a DevOps Engineer increasesproductivity in the workplace. A DevOps Engineer works to balancevarious aspects of a project, most of them complex issues such asprogramming and network building.
SkillsRequirements:
- 6 plus Proven workexperience as a DevOps Engineer, with a strong focus on AWS /Azure,cloud platform
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in ComputerScience or Software Engineering is preferred
- Currentunderstanding of best practices regarding system security measures
- CI/CD Tools and Automation: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI,etc.
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) forautomation and configuration management.
- Familiarity withcompliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2) and their implicationson cloud infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with IaC toolslike CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
- Willingness tostay updated with the latest trends and developments in DevOps, cloudtechnologies, and AWS services
- Strong problem-solving skillsand ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with technical andnon-technical stakeholders.
