Cloud Engineer

Job Role: Cloud Engineer - GCPLocation: Montreal, QCJob Type: Permanent FulltimeJob DescriptionMinimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering or DevOps roles Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform GCP and related services Compute Engine Kubernetes Engine Cloud Functions etc.Extensive experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code IaC on GCP.Strong understanding of Jenkins for automating CI CD pipelines.Solid understanding of cloud architecture networking security and monitoring.Proficiency in scripting languages Markup languages such as Python Bash or Yaml Json.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams.Relevant certifications e g Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer Terraform Certification are a plus.Preferred Qualifications –Experience with other cloud platforms AWS Azure Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible Puppet or Chef Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with other CI CD tools like GitLab CI or CircleCI Understanding of service mesh technologies such as Istio.Experience with logging and monitoring tools like Prometheus GrafanaAbout CapgeminiCapgemini is a global business and technology transformation partner, helping organizations to accelerate their dual transition to a digital and sustainable world, while creating tangible impact for enterprises and society.
