In this role, you will leverage your expertise in corporate accounts, treasury, tax, receivables, payables, and financial reporting to support and guide critical business decisions related to technology and process management.As the Manager, you will utilize your advanced system and industry knowledge to ensure solutions are developed in line with best practices and internal controls; oversee all phases of requirement delivery, including planning, elicitation, analysis, documentation, functional design, deployment, and evaluation; and recruit, coach, and mentor a team of experts who are integral business partners across the organization.Your role will be pivotal in bridging the gap between technology and business needs, driving effective solutions that support our strategic goals.What You'll Do:Lead and manage a group of Application Engineers that build and maintain technology platforms for all functional areas related to store operations and retail systems.Design and improve software, aligned with the strategic direction of the organization.Work as a bridge between business partners and engineering teams.Solve and recommend solutions for complex scenarios and issues within an agile or waterfall project structure.Provide guidance and input to sequencing within the technology roadmap.Configure new application features and deprecate existing features as needed.Develop and implement enhancements for existing applications and platforms.Maintain expert level of application knowledge with each upgrade or new application implementation.Lead the creation and review of all technical documentation.Create and manage production deployment plans.Plan for and align application security models according to best practices and license efficiency.Interact with the user community to solve problems, augment system functionality, and improve the user experience.Develop test case scenarios for QA and UAT.QualificationsLet's Talk About You:5+ years’ experience as a technology lead, implementing financial solutions3+ years’ experience managing a team and leading the design efforts for complex projectsUniversity Degree in relevant discipline such as Business, Information Technology, Management, or Information Systems, or equivalent of experienceExperience working with agile/scrum methodologiesMinimum of 3 full system implementations D365 or other financial/ERP systems5+ years experience in D365 Finance & Operations and certification is requiredFinancial designation or certification is preferredSuperior commerce technology/platform architecture knowledge pertaining to ERP integrations.Intermediate to Advanced understanding of Power Platform, Power App, and Power Automate applications.Cloud, networks, server, IT security, and programming.Additional InformationWhat’s in it For You?A company built on Canadian roots and heritageYour work is recognized with a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards ProgramOpportunities for career growth through numerous internal and external programsRecognize and be recognized by your peers with our Goose Rewards & ICON RewardsBe a part of CG Gives.
