Senior Project Engineer - Gas Processing

This is a great opportunity for you!Agilus is recruiting for a Senior Project Engineer - Gas Processing in the Oil and Gas Industry in a hybrid work environment in Edmonton, Alberta. Our client is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to coordinate project resources and be a liaison between the Project Manager and the assigned multi-discipline Project Team. The Sr Project Engineer ensures that all project deliverables comply within the requirements of the project and align with the parameters outlined in the Project Plan.A typical day:Ensuring equipment operates efficiently, is designed in accordance with client specifications, will be delivered on time and within budget.Oversee detailed process/mechanical design. Coordinate and oversee various disciplines involved in the project (ensure their awareness of all ongoing work). Disciplines can include: design drafting, piping, instrumentation, electrical, control systems, mechanical & process engineering, as well as production.Ensuring engineering is done with accuracy and to high standards.Managing projects to meet client specifications, deadlines, and budget, acting as a client liaison.Ensure design information is adequately controlled and provided to the project team as required. Coordination of drawings and purchasing to ensure work gets to shop in time.Successful candidates will have:5 - 12 years experience in Project Engineering with P.ENG designation.B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering or equivalent technology degree.At least 3+ years with Gas Processing project experience (Mechanical Refrigeration, Gas Sweetening, Liquids Fractionation, Turboexpander, NGL & Offloading Sulfur Recovery).Eligible to live and work in Edmonton, Alberta.Total compensation:Competitive base salary and variable pay that rewards individual, team, and company performance.Comprehensive benefits and retirement savings programs that holistically support employee well-being.Support and empowerment to promote work/life balance.Ongoing learning and professional development opportunities within a diverse, inclusive and dynamic work environment.Interested?
