Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive sourcing strategy aligned with Jo Smith Cashmere’s vision for luxury cashmere products.Lead initiatives to de-risk supply chain, optimize margins, and drive innovation in material sourcing.Oversee vendor compliance, production timelines, quality control, and delivery standards to ensure top-tier cashmere.Collaborate with the Vice President to steer our sourcing strategy, identifying and securing partnerships with mills and factories. Operational Management: Manage the production calendar, ensuring all seasonal milestones are met.Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across product development, design, and merchandising teams to streamline decision-making.Oversee production issues, collaborating with factories and vendors to resolve them and meet business goals.Implement efficient processes and systems to maintain a seamless supply chain. Product Development Collaboration: Work closely with design and merchandising teams to transform creative ideas into manufacturable products that meet the highest luxury standards.Collaborate with designers to select fabrics and trims that maintain aesthetic integrity while ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.Lead the sample development process and ensure product alignment with the brand's pricing and quality goals. Cost Management: Partner with design teams to develop raw materials that meet price and quality targets.Identify opportunities for cost savings across the supply chain without compromising product quality or delivery.Leverage raw material sources across multiple divisions to maximize efficiency. Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team with a focus on innovation, collaboration, and excellence.Foster a growth-oriented, collaborative environment that encourages professional development and creativity. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in fashion, textiles, or related fields.10+ years of experience in cashmere or high-end fashion, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.Deep expertise in cashmere sourcing and luxury product merchandising.Proven ability to lead teams, resolve conflicts, and drive business growth.Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining a strategic vision.Experience managing complex workflows, processes, and cross-functional teams.
