Employing 78,500 people at 3,390 operating locations in 29 countries, CRH has market leadership positions in both North America and Europe.Why work for us?Pension & Benefits!Progressive wage increases!Ongoing training to learn the latest in the industry!Uniforms provided + competitive boot allowance!Growth progression available!Term: PermanentLocation: Burlington, ONHours: DaysReporting to the Fleet Supervisor, this position is responsible for providing maintenance and repairs to the Dufferin Concrete & Ontario Redimix fleet of vehicles.Job Responsibilities:Perform inspections, diagnosis, & repair ready-mix trucks through preventative & scheduled maintenance.Perform removal, rework and installation of various engine and chassis components.Use leading diagnostic technology to identify breakdowns.Order required parts and maintaining parts inventory.Document repairs on work orders and complete inspections sheets as required.Communicate with operations and supervisory staff on availability of equipment.Prioritize jobs and work safely on all equipment.Follow shop procedures and company policies relating to use of shop and Occupational Health & Safety regulations.All other duties as required.Requirements:Must possess a valid 310T Mechanic LicenseMust posses a valid class ‘G’ Driver’s License.Sound working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic pumps and motors, and air brake systems are required.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Ability to travel to local sites as required.Visit our website for more information at www.crhcanada.comCRH Canada Group Inc. recognizes Canada’s diverse landscape.
