Recognition and Engagement Events!  SUMMARY: The Fleet Manager is responsible for overseeing the development of business relationships with commercial prospects. The Fleet Manager sells vehicles and vehicle leasing services to businesses and individuals in accordance with established profit and customer satisfaction guidelines. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES: To champion OpenRoad’s Climate Goals. Visit prospective customers to stimulate interest in establishing or expanding vehicle purchase and leasing programs. Recommended the type (and number, if a fleet) of vehicle needed to perform the job satisfactorily with minimal expense. Respond to all “Requests for Proposals” and bid to obtain the business. Explain the leasing concept to customers and how they can benefit from the tax savings, reduced capital expenditures, etc. Compute leasing charges, based on such factors as length of contract, anticipated mileage and applicable taxes. Prepare and send leasing contract to the appropriate party. Assist the General Sales Manager with promoting a better understanding of the leasing concept among salespeople and other dealership employees to improve lease penetration. Assist in the development of advertising campaigns. Revise administrative procedures to enhance the dealership’s lease renewal program Must follow company safety policies and practices, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager/supervisor. This position will be expected to perform other duties as assigned by management. OpenRoad reserves the right to modify this job description as business needs require.
