Ondel Inc. is currently looking for a senior estimator to assist the Construction Director of the Industrial division on our sites in the greater Montreal area. Join our experienced team now!What will your work day look like?- Analyze plans, specifications and addendums;- Perform inventory of materials, equipment and labor in institutional and industrial areas;- Communicate with the client and/or engineering firm during submission;- Carry out requests, reception and price analysis of materials, equipment and subcontractors;- Provide support for the preparation of submission forms;- Provide support to project managers for the completion of work as well as the evaluation of change notices;- Participate and/or prepare site visits for submissions;- Follow established quality processes and participate in the continuous improvement of the system;- Provide support for the completion of projects;- Perform all other related tasks related to the position.You have:- DEC or BAC in electrical engineering or equivalent experience;- 8 years of experience in estimation or project management in the field of industrial or institutional electricity;- Valid driving license;- Good knowledge of the Office suite, mainly Outlook and Excel;- Knowledge of MS Project (an asset);- Good command of written and spoken French;- Good command of written and spoken English (an asset).You are:- Autonomous;- Proactive;- Rigorous- Comfortable working in a team;- Comfortable with managing stress and tight deadlines.What we offer:- Pleasant, humane working environment offering work-family balance;- Varied and stimulating challenges;- Range of social benefits (training center membership, group insurance, group RRSP, social club, etc.);- Competitive salary depending on your experience;- Allowance for travel expenses;- Opportunity to carry out projects across the province.The use of the masculine gender is only used to lighten the text.
