Sr. Space Planner

Some of what you will do:

The Space planning lead will be responsible to supervise the flow of work within the space planning team and cross functional partners to ensure operational targets are met.  You will contribute to designing, building and maintaining planograms layouts that will enable profitable sales growth, appeal to customer wants, and optimize space utilization.

Specifically, You Will:

• Plan and manage the planogram reset calendar to support key sales periods, store operations planning, and space planner workload.
• Ensure that store facing Space Planning resources are accurate and up to date.
• Liaise with signage and fixture teams to ensure execution of signage and fixture elements in planogram releases.
• Visit stores to gather feedback on planogram quality and customer response to planograms and assortments.
• Support the planning of product line reviews and follow up on key milestones, up to planogram build and execution. 
• Develop planograms using PC based space management software that appeal to how the customer wants to shop the category, are easy for stores to execute and maintain and maximize sales and optimize inventory investment.
• Support store reflows, renovations and new stores initiatives through creation of planograms and maintenance of Planogram database.
• Responsible for overseeing timelines for planogram execution, following up with space planners and cross functional partners.

Some of what you need:

• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
• Excellent MS Office suite skills including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. 
• Experience with Space Planning Software. Knowledge of Blue Yonder/JDA solutions is an asset.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Ability to think strategically and facilitate key decisions.
• Comfortable interacting with all levels of management and cross-functional partners.
• A proactive attitude and sense of urgency
• 3+ years of planogram experience
