Join Crowe MacKay LLP’s Yellowknife office in the Northwest Territories. We are hiring a qualified full-time Manager for our Enterprise Group (E-Group). The successful candidates will report to the Partnership group and is a part of the leadership team. The Manager plays a key role in fostering Crowe MacKay’s mission, vision and strategic direction by setting the tone at the top. The Role Managers in our E-Group are responsible for a portfolio of clients (T2 only, Compilations and Review engagements reporting under ASPE). E-Group Managers will be responsible for planning and supervising engagements to be undertaken by staff, and reviewing engagements for release to clients. They will also independently offer tax compliance and business advice to personal and corporate clients. Other duties include: Build effective working relationships with clients Prepare internal and external client correspondence Actively participate in the Mentorship and development of Junior level staff Act as a resource for staff when questions arise Completion of additional ad-hoc administrative duties or assignments as required What You Will Bring CPA designation. 5+ years’ experience in public accounting, Tax experience an asset. Familiarity with CaseWare, Microsoft Office and Tax Prep. Ability to interact with clients, co-workers, Managers and Partners. Able to prioritize workloads, meet deadlines and work under pressure. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Values teamwork, client/customer service, professionalism, quality in detailed work, community involvement, personal and professional growth. Experience with corporate reorganizations, estate planning and tax research skills would be an asset.
