Due to our continued growth and focus on building and growing capability in Canada, we are seeking an experienced Director, Engineering to lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team as part of the Senior Leadership Team.
Reporting to the Vice President – North America, the Director, Engineering will execute and drive the business strategy, focusing on growth, risk management, cost efficiency, and cash flow.
As the Director, Engineering you will be responsible for:
Cultivating sustainable business growth whilst building people capability. You will provide strategic and operational leadership to a highly skilled and experienced team to execute the business strategy effectively.
Strengthening and building on the existing culture and continue fostering its evolution and growth.
Leading, planning, directing, and coordinating the delivery of design and engineering services to external and internal clients, with a focus on cost, time, and quality.
Actively supporting the delivery of Projects through provision of design and engineering services.
Leading and managing tactical planning for opportunity pursuit and negotiation to ensure the business achieves their order book growth targets premised on sustainable contracts in accordance with the group governance framework.
Lead by example to create a culture focussed on client relationships, innovative solutions, commercial discipline, and health and safety excellence.
You are an experienced leader demonstrating the following qualities:
Bachelor of Engineering degree or a post graduate degree in a related field with a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) accreditation.
An exceptional people leader and have demonstrated experience in managing and leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams while nurturing a strong organisational culture.
Established yourself as a senior technical leader with over 10 to 15 years experience within the minerals processing, energy or chemicals sector.
Strong commercial acumen. You have a solid understanding and experience in preparing and managing budgets to drive project success and overall business growth.

Salary range in BC: $200,000 – 250,000
The salary offered to the successful person for this position will consider education, experience, relevant skills and capability, geographic location and market conditions at the time of hire.
