Job Mandate The primary responsibility of the Technical Project Manager is to drive effective project delivery across the KORE Technology team and HTS Engineering’s businesses. This role involves providing technical project planning, management, and oversight for key initiatives. The Technical Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing projects related to all aspects of our infrastructure and application technology stack within the HTS group of companies. This includes network, storage, servers, virtualization, cloud (Azure/AWS) and any internally developed or vendor supplied applications. The project manager will be responsible for organizing and controlling project activities with internal teams, and communicating risks, opportunities, and project statuses to management, stakeholders, and business partners. Responsibilities: Project Planning and Execution: Plan, execute, and monitor software IT Operations projects across HTS Engineering’s businesses. Ensure alignment with KORE Solution’s overarching organizational goals and objectives Establish an overall project plan in compliance with defined project management methodology. Managing stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Ensuring effective communication, including providing timely updates to leadership and project sponsors. Project Management: Identify, clarify, and communicate project vision, goals, and objectives, and how they tie into or support organizational strategic objectives. Define project scope, deliverables, roles, and responsibilities in collaboration with stakeholders and business partners. Develop and manage a budget and resource plan, providing updates on financial status and monthly cost plans, differentiating between operational and capital expenditures. Establish, plan, and execute major milestones to complete the project lifecycle. Assign and monitor work of project team members, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Risk and Change Management: Manage and track team velocity and other KPIs in relation to the plan and publish progress reports. Manage and appropriately escalate delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes associated with assigned projects. Process Improvement: Provide process improvement recommendations based on best practices and industry standards. Lead and motivate cross-functional teams and interact with all levels of the organization. Working Conditions: Hybrid of remote work and office setting Office setting - Open, collaborative office space (may vary by location) Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines Reliable access to personal transportation is a requirement Minimum required technical skills/qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is an asset 7+ years of experience managing complex projects Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or similar role, with a track record of successfully managing infrastracture, networking and security related projects. Strong understanding of project management methodologies and change management protocols. Experience with budgeting and resource management. Working knowledge of several infrastructure-based technologies, including storage, networking, and servers. Working knowledge of common operating systems, including Windows Server, Redhat & Debian Linux Working knowledge of network management and design, including hardware from Fortinet, Cisco Working knowledge of infrastructure automation and management using tools such as Ansible, Terraform and Bicep. Working knowledge of datacenter processes and a high degree of comfort working, building, and modifying infrastructure. General knowledge of cloud technology with an emphasis on Azure General knowledge of programming principles and comfort with using common scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell and the *nix shell - (bash/csh/zsh) Minimum required behavioural/soft skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
