About The Opportunity:
In this key analytical role, you will assume responsibility for claims management, administration, and processing, as well as coordinating and administering the City's corporate risk management programs. This position encompasses a wide range of responsibilities for claims management, report writing, research and technical and analytical support as required.
About Your Background:
We're looking for a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) with related experience in the insurance industry, such as brokerage, claims adjusting or risk management. A working knowledge of claims and risk management, research, statistical and analytical principles, practices, procedures, and techniques is essential for success in this role. Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) This term position is expected to last 6 months or longer. A valid class 5, full privilege BC driver's license (or out of province equivalent) and a clear Police information Check for offenses related to the position are required.
