Though the tobacco industry is changing, JTI remains committed to provide adult consumers with a choice of a wide portfolio of quality products including those with the potential to reduce the risks associated with smoking.  Commercial Insights Manager – Head Office – Mississauga  Position Purpose JTI Macdonald Corp. is seeking a dedicated and motivated commercial insights Manager with a strong proficiency in data insights to join our dynamic team. As a commercial Insights Manager, you will play a critical role in the analysis and interpretation of commercial data ensuring accurate and efficient insights to drive informed business decisions and perform accurate reporting. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including planning, field Sales, brand team, Excom, IT, and external data scientists, and most importantly the SI team members to find opportunities for data-driven insights and provide actionable recommendations. Responsibilities and Duties Use advanced analytical techniques to identify patterns, trends, and relationships within large datasets.  Apply statistical methods and data visualization techniques to interpret findings and communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ensure global reporting is performed in a timely manner. Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, extract relevant data, and provide comprehensive analyses.  Develop simple tools to keep track of commercial KPIs. Be a center of excellence for competitive intelligence, including multi category understanding at varius marketing mix level. Collaborate with planning, IT, and external data consultants to optimize data models and pipelines for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to present key findings and metrics to partners.  Ensure data visualizations are intuitive, insightful, and aligned with business requirement. Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to data modeling and analysis.  Proactively find opportunities for process improvement and propose innovative solutions to enhance data quality and operational efficiency. Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred. Shown experience in data analysis, preferably in a fast-paced and data-driven environment. Strong proficiency in data modeling techniques, including conceptual, logical, and physical modeling is an asset but not mandatory. Familiarity with data visualization tools (, Power BI, Tableau, QlikView) to create intuitive and impactful visualizations. A good command on numbers, and mathematical skills are a key. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with large datasets while maintaining data integrity.
