We think globally, but act in our own backyards.Build your future with Maplesoft’s exciting technologies, deep partnerships, personal approach to consulting services, professional development opportunities and exciting company culture.Location: Hybrid - 1 day per week on site in Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal or CalgaryStart Date: 06-12-2024Language: EnglishSalary: NegotiableSecurity Clearance: Enhanced ReliabilityDuration: 24 Months with the possibility of extensionMaplesoft Group is currently seeking a Solution Architect consultant for our client.Tasks and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Guides and advises a team of developers in their work by providing mentoring, guidance, knowledge sharing and helping team members grow their technical skills and making sure coding standards are followed.Plays key role in solution architecture and design and technical decisions (technologies, frameworks and tools selection).Documents significant architecture decisions and concerns and communicate them to the appropriate stakeholders.Help identify the risk and cost of the decisions taken and document them within the decision registry.Ensures that documentation is created and maintained for architecture, design, development and deployment processes.Collaborates with various stakeholders (business SME, business sponsors, product owners, scrum masters, other technical teams, etc.) to ensure technical decisions are taken and documented.Authors architecture decisions, identifying the best compromise to address the business needs while thinking of the TCO, business implications and technical implications.Maplesoft Group prides itself on its distinct corporate culture and recognizes that success is a direct reflection of our most valuable asset - our people.
