Role Overview The Foundation Coordinator will play a pivotal role in advancing the mission of the Sun and Truth Foundation. This position involves a combination of hands-on community engagement and high-level administrative responsibilities. The Coordinator will work closely with both the Co-Founder and the Head of Finance of BoxOne Ventures, who assist with strategic vision and financial operations. Key Responsibilities: Community Events: Plan, organize, and execute community events that align with the Foundation's three pillars of focus:Nature: Enhance and preserve biodiversity through innovative ecological initiatives that contribute to the health of our planet and its inhabitants.Underserved Communities: Empower and uplift developing communities by creating environments that enable individuals to flourish and reach their full potential, respecting the dignity of every person.Health, Wellness, and Mindfulness: Promote holistic health and wellness through accessible programs that support physical, mental, and emotional well-being, ensuring that everyone has equal opportunities to benefit from these initiatives.Government Liaison: Collaborate with local governments in Montreal and Quebec to advance the Foundation's mission, including supporting ecological initiatives and underserved communities.Grant Management: Identify, apply for, and manage grants that will maximize the Foundation's impact.Mission Execution: Develop and implement strategies to fully realize the Foundation's mission, ensuring all activities align with the Foundation's goals.Charity Recommendations: Research and recommend charities that align with the Foundation's mission and are worthy of donations.Administrative Planning: Manage both the day-to-day operations and high-level planning of the Foundation's initiatives.Collaboration: Work alongside the Founder and Head of Finance of BoxOne Ventures to align the Foundation's activities with strategic vision and financial planning. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, Environmental Science, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in nonprofit management, community engagement, or a related area.Project Management: Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (English and French).Government Relations: Proven ability to work with local governments and community organizations.Grant Writing: Experience in grant writing and fundraising.Passion: Passion for environmental sustainability and community development.Independence: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
