About Our Client:Our client is a highly reputable organization in the financial services industry.Position Scope:Reporting to the Senior Manager, Total Rewards & Analytics, the Manager, Total Rewards is responsible for leading, guiding and mentoring the total rewards team and ensuring the organization’s operational activities are completed quickly, accurately and in line with best practices. This role provides leadership, expertise, and partnership in the areas of compensation, group benefits, pension & retirement recognition, wellness, paid time off, disability & leaves management, job evaluation & organizational structure, and other rewards & recognition programs for all levels of the organization.Responsibilities:Manage, train, guide, and mentor a team of total rewards professionals within the People Strategy teamOversight of the total rewards programs including compensation, group benefits, pension, and other rewards & recognition programs:Compensation: manage and oversee the annual compensation review process with the support of a Compensation Specialist, as well as ongoing compensation projects (benchmarking studies, compensation projection surveys, pay equity analysis, organizational structure recommendations)Group Benefits: lead the annual benefit renewal process, benchmarking of plan designs & recommendations for changesPension Plan: work with internal pension plan administrators to help manage the defined benefit (DB) pension plan, and other financial benefits Other Rewards & Recognition programs: design and lead the service milestone program, peer recognition platform, paid time off policy, wellness initiatives and other recognition programsOversight of employee leaves (disability management, absence management, personal leaves of absence, etc.) with support from the Wellness & Total Rewards Specialist and external vendors Track program metrics and conduct research to make data-driven recommendations to senior leadership as it relates to total rewardsConduct job evaluations for net new positions and keep internal job databases up to dateLead requests for proposals (RFPs) and implementation projects for the various programs within total rewards (group benefits providers, recognition platforms, perk providers, etc.)Vendor management including maintaining relationships with account executives and escalation of service issuesPartner with internal stakeholders to implement strategies to elevate the total rewards programMaintain expertise of legislative changes and industry trends in total rewards via strategic networking, research and thought leadership eventsRequired Qualifications:Undergraduate degree in Human Resource, or a college diploma / an undergraduate degree with post-graduate studies in Human Resources ManagementSeven years of professional level experience in a combination of human resources, compensation, benefits, pension, and wellnessCEBS, CHRP or CHRL designation an assetDeep understanding of HR policies and proceduresExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are essentialAbility to lead meetings and presentations, and ability to interface and influence all levels of staff with professionalism, tact, and diplomacyMust be a collaborative team player, possess a strong customer service orientation, and be an agile and consultative problem solverDemonstrated track record of developing innovative approaches backed by industry researchSuperior organizational, project management and analytical skillsMust demonstrate the organization’s Core Values of Integrity, Teamwork, and ImpactApplication Instructions: To apply, please send a resume to Allison Dwyer at [email protected] Summit Search Group is a fair and equitable search firm.
