THE JOB Lead multiple groups of engineers in building and supporting best-in-class music festival centric technical solutions. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS) Report to VP of Engineering and serve as a company leader for engineering. Collaborate with supervisor in defining engineering strategy and technical roadmap. Lead staffing efforts across multiple agile teams – onshore vs. offshore as well as full-time vs. contract. Address relevant personnel matters such as resource allocation and performance evaluation. Monitor and support skill and career development for direct reports. Unite technical leaders in the definition of processes and best practices. Serve as an advocate for technical initiatives in the product roadmap planning process. Periodically provide valuable individual coding contributions to expedite initiatives. Support on-call needs through direct contribution or escalation/rotation management. OUR TECHNOLOGY STACK PHP AWS Terraform Kubernetes Datadog React Gitlab Jenkins WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS) 8+ years related work experience. 2+ years of experience in a leadership role. Advanced knowledge of: application and data architecture object oriented programming principles prevailing best practices and design patterns Expert knowledge of: agile methodologies cloud infrastructure architecture testing methodologies version control tools and best practices Mastery of one or more scripting languages.
