Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented project Execution Coordinator on a 6 month contract (extendable) to support the execution of mechanical projects at our client's oil and gas terminal. This role will be pivotal in ensuring that project execution tasks are carried out safely, efficiently, and in alignment with our long-term reliability goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of both project and contractor systems and will work collaboratively with various teams to navigate the complexities inherent in oil and gas operations.Main FunctionsProvide leadership to ensure job scope execution is conducted safely, in an environmentally sound manner, and cost-effectively, contributing to the long-term reliability of the refinery.Interpret the potential impact of events on project execution and facilitate resolution among involved parties.Work within the parameters of both Project and Contractor systems, ensuring compliance and alignment with established processes.Tasks and ResponsibilitiesAssist the Project Engineer in managing execution issues that arise from project complexities and overlapping contractor operations.Demonstrate behaviors that promote safety and adherence to safety protocols in the workplace.Support the Project Team as needed, assisting the Project Engineer in coordinating tasks and communication among stakeholders.Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and contribute to project meetings as necessary.Ensure that all documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.Skills and QualificationsExperience: Proven experience in upstream oil and gas design, engineering, or management within an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contracting environment is required.Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to diverse audiences.Technical Background: Extensive technical knowledge in project execution, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex issues effectively.Leadership: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams towards achieving project goals.Problem-Solving: Proven ability to interpret project dynamics and foster collaboration to achieve resolutions.
