Functional analyst

Brief description of the position : In order to meet the needs of its clients in the IT sector, FOP CONSULTANTS is looking for IT functional analysis consultants motivated to carry out mandates. The main missions will be to develop functional specifications for programs and software, create and test solutions, monitor releases, train users and participate in continuous improvement programs. Main responsibilities: Without limitation, the main tasks involve: Develop functional specifications for programs, systems, software and applications in collaboration with the project team; Collaborate in the design of programs, systems, software and applications and in the development of implementation strategies; Create test scripts, test specific solutions, in order to confirm the specific functionalities of programs, systems, software and applications; Analyze incidents, determine the causes, and follow up to ensure their resolution; Prepare training documents and, if necessary, train the various users; Maintain close collaboration and communication with the marketing department in identifying technical needs and requirements; Actively collaborate in project team meetings, activities and deliverables; Perform pre-production risk analyzes to develop preventive measures to secure production; Monitor production processes and activities, provide support to resolve issues that arise; Keep a technological watch on new methods with a view to continuous improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering or any other related discipline; 1 (one) to 10 (ten) years of experience in the field of IT; Relevant experience in software and application development projects; Relevant experience in agile (scrum) and conventional project management methodology; Knowledge of the software development life cycle (specifications, tests, stabilization); Excellent ability to analyze and solve problems; Experience in CRM, SAP configuration, an asset; Experience in research and analysis in databases; Hold one of the following certifications: ISTBQ, CPACC, WAS, DHS, CPWA, an asset; Excellent knowledge of the MS Office suite; Good communication and writing skills in French and English; Mobility (an asset).
