Manga Hotel Group is a privately held Canadian company involved in the acquisition, development, and management of real estate with a focus on high quality hotels affiliated with prestigious brands such as Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, and the InterContinental Hotel Group. Currently, Manga Hotels owns and operates 28 hotels with over 5000 rooms, 15 food and beverage outlets and 5 residential properties with a number of new properties and developments in the pipeline.As Manga Hotel Group continues to expand, we are actively seeking talented individuals to join our growing team. As Director of Hotel Operations, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, ensuring guest satisfaction, and overseeing revenue and sales at our hotels.Your basic duties include, but are not limited to, the following:Deploying knowledge of Hilton, Marriott, IHG and/or Hyatt systems to optimize operational processes and work?ows to maximize e?ciency, reduce costs, and improve productivity across various departments, including front o?ce, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance;Consistently and proactively measuring hotel performance (sales, revenue, market share, GSS, GOP, Accounts Receivable, STR (RGI), and online reviews) to ensure each hotel exceeds its target goals;Responsibility for ensuring all hotels are meeting brand guidelines for service, quality, and training;Following and promoting the organization’s policies, philosophies, and procedures and effectively articulating and presenting the organization's vision and values;Conducting regular property visits and monitoring and reviewing overall performance and overseeing daily hotel operations;Collaborating with the ?nance team to set and achieve ?nancial goals, monitor key performance indicators, control expenses, and drive revenue generation to achieve pro?tability targets; andResponsibility for the overall revenue, sales, and operational performance of the hotels assigned to you.Quali?cations:Signi?cant experience in hotel operations, preferably with Hilton, Marriot, Hyatt and/or IHG.A minimum of ten years' executive experience managing operations in the hotel industry.Strong knowledge of the full-service hotel industry, including an understanding of industry trends and best practices.Familiarity with hotel property management systems and other relevant software.Job Type: On-site, Full-timeBenefits: Extended health careSchedule: Monday to FridayWork Location: St. John’s Newfoundland
