Bookkeeper / Junior Accountant

We are looking for an experienced, detailed oriented, highly organized Bookkeeper / Junior Accountant to join our team at Zip Brands Inc. (mo'Cha Bubble Tea stores) located in Sarnia, Ontario. This part time position is great for someone looking for supplemental income, and work flexibility. This is an ON SITE position. Please DO NOT apply if you are unable to come onsite once per week or if you do not have a reliable means of transportation. In this role you will oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, timely bank and credit card reconciliations, ROE submission, analyzing accounts, maintaining accounts receivables and payables, reviewing and submitting payroll, and supporting budgeting processes. Reporting directly to the Senior Accountant, you will contribute to the financial health of the organization by handling various accounting tasks efficiently. Responsibilities: Maintain accurate financial records Perform timely bank and credit card reconciliations Submit ROE and analyze accounts Maintain accounts receivables and payables Review and submit payroll Support budgeting processes Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Preferred) or equivalent experience Proven experience in accounting roles, with at least 1-2 years of experience Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial analysis a plus Proficiency in using accounting software Sage and Excel Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management Excellent English written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively If you meet the qualifications for this Bookkeeper/Junior Accountant position and are looking to grow your career in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply.
